Rome vs Boudicca Round 1

Last week’s battle saw an unfortunate ambush for the Romans. Their advance cavalry was peppered with javelins and then failed an order check, blocking the way. Meanwhile the cohorts behind hurried to deploy out of column before the warband got across the river and reorganised themselves to get rid of the disorder markers.

The Romans withdrew as their auxiliaries were cut down but the legion survived and will figh5 again tomorrow
